Wishaw Thistle F.C. was a Scottish football team, from the town of Wishaw in Lanarkshire. The club played in the Scottish Cup and subsidiary League competitions in the 1890s, and came within one vote of joining the Scottish League, but was wound up in 1900. Wikipedia
